The department of Humanities & Sciences, since its inception in 2006 follows the “Scientific approach ̶ pursuit for truth” and strives at par to academic excellence with value-based education. The Department of Humanities and Science has emerged as a department pursuing excellence and has grown in strength over the years in terms of infrastructure including laboratories and faculty.
Even after a decade, the department is burgeoning with highly motivated and well qualified young as well as experienced faculty including PhDs from IITs. H&S dept. caters to the needs of all the students and nourishes the practical skills by providing the flexibility of self-learning for students through audio-visual methods. The department’s focal point is to process the raw talent and mould students of varied backgrounds to help them understand their potential and enrich their lives.
To foster creative expression and critical thinking, support collaboration among disciplines and between faculty and students, and integrate scholastic excellence, disciplinary training, and civic engagement.
To empower every student to be creative and productive in the area of Humanities and Science by imparting quality education and inculcating human values. To mould the freshmen in all aspects – academics, literary, cultural, arts, sports and above all discipline.
