National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit of Global Institute of Engineering & Technology (A), plays a vital role in shaping responsible, disciplined, and patriotic citizens. With a strong strength of 108 dedicated cadets, our NCC unit actively contributes to nation-building while fostering leadership and character development among students.
Aim of NCC
- To develop character, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among young citizens.
- To create a human resource of organized, trained, and motivated youth who can provide leadership in all walks of life.
- To provide a suitable environment to motivate youth to join the Armed Forces.
National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit – Global Institute of Engineering and Technology
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit at Global Institute of Engineering and Technology was formally raised on 15 December 2025 under the aegis of 1(T) Arty Battery NCC, Hyderabad Group, AP & Telangana Directorate. The raising of the unit was carried out under the esteemed supervision of the Commanding Officer, Colonel Ravinder Rao.
Consequent upon the establishment of the unit, the enrolment process for the first contingent of cadets was commenced on the same day under the supervision of SM Rajiv Kumar, along with the Permanent Instructional (PI) Staff. Subsequently, M. A. Mussavir was appointed as the Caretaker Training Officer (CTO) of the institution, entrusted with the responsibility of administering and coordinating all NCC activities within the college.
The NCC unit has an authorised strength of 106 cadets, comprising both Senior Division (SD) and Senior Wing (SW). In its initial phase, a total of 36 cadets have been enrolled as part of the first batch, representing both SD and SW categories.
The establishment of the NCC unit marks a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment towards fostering discipline, leadership, unity, and a spirit of national service among students. The cadets are imparted systematic training through regular parades, institutional training activities, and participation in various camps, thereby contributing to their holistic development.
The institution remains steadfast in its endeavour to further strengthen and expand the NCC unit, ensuring increased participation and meaningful contribution of SD and SW cadets towards nation-building and societal service.

Mr. M. A. Mussavir serves as the Caretaker Training Officer (CTO) at the Global Institute of Engineering and Technology under the 1 (T) Artillery Battery NCC Unit. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (General) degree and is a recipient of the NCC ‘C’ Certificate.
During his tenure as an NCC cadet, he had the distinguished honour of representing the Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Directorate at the Republic Day Camp (RDC), New Delhi—one of the most prestigious platforms in the National Cadet Corps. He has also participated in a Trekking Expedition in Jharkhand and an Artillery Attachment Camp, which have significantly contributed to his development in leadership, discipline and fieldcraft.
Subsequent to his cadetship, he served as a BCA NCC at Genesis International School, where he was actively involved in the training and mentoring of cadets. He further rendered his services as an NCC Advisor at The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, guiding students towards excellence in both academic and co-curricular domains.
At present, in his capacity as CTO at the Global Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Mussavir remains committed to imparting quality training and fostering the values of discipline, leadership, and patriotism among cadets, in alignment with the ethos and traditions of the National Cadet Corps.
